Managing leads

Organize, assign, and follow up on leads so nothing slips through the cracks.

Leads are the heart of your pipeline. Here’s how to work with them day to day.

The lead inbox

Every lead and conversation your business receives — across connected email, WhatsApp, and other channels — lands in the shared Inbox. Each conversation carries a label, such as Enquiry, WhatsApp, or Reply, so your team can see the source and type of contact at a glance. Use search and filters to narrow the list, and mark conversations read or unread to track what still needs attention.

Adding leads

Leads normally arrive on their own once you connect a channel in Connected Accounts. You can also add a lead by hand from the inbox when you have contact details from a call or another offline source.

Working a conversation

Open a conversation to see the full message history and reply from the same screen. Use a saved reply from Templates instead of writing the same message repeatedly, and attach files where the channel supports it.

Converting a lead to a deal

When a lead is worth tracking more closely — a serious buyer, a live quote, a negotiation in progress — open its conversation, use the three-dot menu, and choose Convert to Deal. The conversation moves out of the general inbox list and into Deals, a separate list for what you’re actively closing. If a deal falls through, choose Revert to Lead from the same menu to move it back.

Following up

Create a task directly from a conversation — give it a title, an optional description, and a priority — and it appears on the Tasks page alongside every other open follow-up across your team. Mark a task complete once you’ve handled it, or delete it if it’s no longer relevant.
